San Diego Chargers vs. Miami Dolphins

These two teams look like they are both getting their acts together so this should be a more competitive game than most expect it to be.  The Chargers will likely come out throwing the ball against a Dolphins’ defense that is allowing opposing QBs to post a rating of 114.8 so far this season.  With that in mind look for Philip Rivers to move the ball around to Vincent Jackson, Antonio Gates, Mike Tolbert, Chris Chambers, L.T. and Darren Sproles.  The Dolphins are only allowing 3.3 yards per carry and 90.7 yards rushing per game this season but that won’t stop the Chargers from trying to run the football with L.T.

The Chargers defense is very vulnerable to the passing game allowing 276.3 passing yards per game but the Dolphins really don’t have the weapons to exploit that weakness.  But, Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams have to be looking forward to running against a Chargers’ defense that is allowing 100.0 yards rushing per game and 4.5 yards per carry.

PREDICTION:  SAN DIEGO CHARGERS 38, MIAMI DOLPHINS 27
