Nate Kaeding is the secret weapon of the San Diego Chargers

Nate Kaeding doesn’t leave many points on the football field and he has a very strong leg.  The 26-year old Kaeding played in all 16 games for the Chargers last season and he connected on 24 of 27 field goal attempts (88.9%).  He also made all 46 of his extra point tries.  Look for Kaeding to have another outstanding season in 2008 for the Chargers.  Kaeding has now played in 64 games in his NFL career and he has made 91 of 105 field goals (86.7%).  He has also nailed 207 of 208 extra points (99.5%) in his career.

Great stats Kaeding but he still can’t kick deep and who has any confidence at all when he lines up with the game on the line? He still cannot hold John Carney’s jock!

15 year old Christoffer from Denmark. And he wants to live with a ‘football family’ because he says he is ‘hooked on the chargers’.

I am helping my daughter in finding Host-Families for exchange students and usually I don’t write anything in the ads but the bare bones, but after reading the application letter from Christofffer, I just HAVE to share some of his letter!

Anyway, he writes that he wants to live with a family that loves American football as much as he does. He wants to be an in-person Chargers fan and especially he wants to experience the American Super Bowl Sunday.

He says he has watched some Charger games all the way over in Denmark last year and just loves the Chargers. He wants to learn to play American football too while he is here.

Is there a newsletter or blog or anyway we can put this out for football fans so we can find Christoffer a home in time for football season? (this info can be copy & pasted). These kids thrive best in a busy family lifestyle and come with excellent English, their own money and insurance and high scholastic ratings.

There is no cost to the host-family (except maybe treat him to a home game??) and he can bunk with a sibling and just put an extra dinner plate out for him. These highly screened kids are very brave and very independent by the way.

Perhaps you can direct me to some places I can place ads or contact coaches/families etc to help Christoffer find a home in time to start school in 2+ weeks???

The details of being a host family can better be explained by my daughter later if someone is interested in Christoffer. School registration and all the details are taken care of by my Daughter Sarah……however, we are needing to get him enrolled in a school near your home, so time is short. Christoffer has already missed one exhibition game!
