The defense led the way for the Chargers in the football game yesterday.  Linebackers Stephen Cooper (10 tackles, sack), Shaun Phillips (9 tackles, 1.5 sacks) and Shawne Merriman (6 tackles, 3 sacks) all played well.  CB Antonio Cromartie has another great game with 5 tackles and 2 more pickoffs.  The Chiefs finished up with 88 yards rushing on 25 carries (3.5 ypc) and they also completed 21 of 40 passes for 180 yards.

Philip Rivers had another so-so game as he completed 10 of 21 passes for 157 yards with 1 TD pass and 1 interception.  LaDainian Tomlinson had by far his best game of the season yesterday as he carried the ball 23 times for 177 yards (7.7 ypc) with 2 TD runs and he also caught 3 passes for 20 yards (6.7 avg).  The Chargers finished up with 191 yards rushing on 32 carries (6.0 ypc) and they also completed 10 of 21 passes for 139 yards.
