Running back Tyronne Gross was making a huge run at making the opening day roster of the Chargers until he dislocated his knee cap against the Rams on Saturday Night.  He will likely miss the entire 2007 season.  Gross carried the ball 8 times for 39 yards (4.9 ypc) and he caught 5 passes for 19 yards (3.8 avg) in the Chargers first two pre-season games.
